The Weekly Street Style Inspiration

If you've been reading my blog for a while you would know how much I love street style, it is where I get most of my inspiration for my outfits - in addition to Instagram and my beloved fashion blogs. What I like about street style is that you can see how people wear the latest trends in so many different ways, according to their personal style.

As back to school is just around the corner (or maybe you have already started), I decided to gather the finest selection of street style inspiration of the week, so if you are stressing about thinking what the heck are you going to wear for school (or life in general), because you've been wearing PJs and sweatpants all summer and you don't remember what clothes even are (by the way, I can totally relate to you), in this post you'll find some inspiration to look dang good. I'll try to make this a weekly post, so each week you will have new inspiration to play with.

Remember that this is just inspiration, you should never try to copy an entire outfit, these are just ideas which you should then adapt to your personal style.

Don't be scared of the flare

Why are there so many people that hate flare jeans?

When I was little I thought flare jeans were funny, I didn't get them, I didn't understand how they could be in fashion and if I'm honest, until a couple years ago, I still didn't like them. But now, I love them, even if I don't own a pair myself, but I'm hoping to change that as soon as possible. In addition, these last couple of years, brands have been trying to bring this classic 70's trend back, even though I think that it wasn't until this year that they really had a comeback.

''But flare jeans are so unflattering!''

Don't be fooled, my dear.

Flare jeans actually slim and elongate your legs, doesn't matter if you have smaller or  bigger thighs, my thighs are more in the bigger side and whenever I've tried a pair my legs look better in them than in the typical skinny jeans, so yeah, let's break these stereotypes. Moreover, if you pair them with some heels, you will have legs for days!

Also, if you're loving this 70's trend going on, but you don't know which items to include to still maintain your personal style, flare jeans are the perfect option to try out. Because you will still be able to wear your favourite shirt and accessories but with this added 70's plus.

Now let's see how the Street Style experts wear it, so you can see how good they can look included in different styles and you can forever learn to not be scared of the flare (jeans)!

What do you think of flare jeans? Do you love them or you just can't wrap your head around them?

The only jacket you will need this Autumn

Jackets are my favourite clothing piece of all, if it were for me, I would only buy cool jackets and then just wear a white t-shirt, jeans and a nice pair of shoes. I always want to buy new ones but my mum has banned me from buying any, even with my own money, because ''I have too many''- I really don't have that many. If I'm honest, I can understand her a little because jackets and coats are usually the most expensive pieces in shops. She always says: ''You should buy more shirts and t-shirts, Julia!'', but I'm never that attracted to them, unless they have a really interesting detail or graphic.

You can't deny me that a cool jacket can make a ''You look ok...'' outfit to a ''Dang, you look good!'' outfit. Am I right?

My all time favourite style of jacket is the biker jacket (also known as the ''perfecto'' jacket) and I really think that if there is a piece of clothing you should invest in, it definitely has to be this one, you won't be disappointed.

It's a timeless shape that comes back every single season, it's really versatile and comes in a huge variety of fabrics, colours and finishes, depending in the material it can make your outfit look super sophisticated (suede) or very edgy (leather). That's why in the selection I've gathered for you Today includes variations within the style, which can maybe adapt better to your personal style. I've also included cheap and expensive options so whatever your budget is, you can still afford one.

Here you have my picks...

Button-front-skirt-mania

You know what kind of skirt I'm talking about, the skirt which you've seen every single fashion blogger, it girl, celebrity and their mother wear. The skirt you see in every-single-shop you go and it's confusing your mind because you don't know if you absolutely love it or you hate it, maybe the buttons have hypnotized you - I just can't write a post without saying something weird, can't I.

Anyway, you know what skirt I mean.

Personally I absolutely love them, although if I'm honest, when I first saw one, I wasn't as sure, but the more times I saw it styled in so many different ways I liked it better and better. You can find them in denim and in suede and I think they are very flattering either ways as it has an A-line shape. The denim version is perfect for casual looks but can really be dressed up and the suede version is just super chic, but you can also dress it down, it's all about finding the right balance. That's why I decided to put together some of my favourite Street Style outfits which are including this skirt, so if you are planning on buying one (or not), you can have some ideas of how you could wear it. Also I've done some research in the online shops to find the best offers depending on your budget, because ain't nobody (and by nobody I mean me) has thousands of euros to buy a skirt.

Let's get inspired...

My autumn (fashion) wishlist for 2015

Back to school season is coming, which means that Autumn is just around the corner and I'm so happy about it (happy about Autumn, not particularly happy about going back to school).

I've always preferred the colder seasons because I hate the feeling of being hot and sweaty. Also I much prefer Autumn/Winter fashion, there are more clothing options to play with (my summer outfits just consist of denim cut-offs and a white t-shirt or a romper (thank the Lord for rompers). For Today's post I decided to put together all the things (fashion related) I would like to buy for this following season, also known as ''The wishlist containing things I'll never be able to buy'', but anyway, dreaming is free, unless you buy online while you are sleeping, that will cost you money - I really don't know where that came from.

Let's get into business.
This wishlist is going to be in the form of three outfits. Let me explain: I've styled all the items together, so you can have a better idea about how I'd wear them. Now that I'm thinking about, it is like two posts in a post, because you can also use these outfits as outfit inspiration;)
